I didn’t realise I was a big fan of print until Emma pointed it out to me. In fact all the evidence was there when I opened my wardrobe. It would be fair to say with somewhat amusement, 65% is indeed print.
One of the things I love about it is, it never really goes out of style & more importantly any age, shape or size can wear it.
If your not feeling confident start small and opt for a printed headband, shoes or handbag.
Animal print seems to be a trend that’s going to be worn from season to season. It made such a huge statement in 2018/19 on the catwalks & fashion weeks that I think it’s worth investing in a piece. The high street does some great buys if your budget doesn’t allow for designer prices.
For those wanting to ease into this trend, why not wear it with plain tee or a denim shirt.
I love to contrast my prints which I understand is not for everyone.
If your in doubt, I would start by using the same colour palette and don’t use anymore than 2 prints. Surprisingly stripes and florals work really well together and if you’re not into bold colours you can easily try a monochrome print clash.
One of my favourite print pieces was recently featured on the blog here - showing you several ways to style one dress and also inspiring you with my love of prints.
